NORTHWEST GAUL. Aulerci Eburovices. 2nd to early 1st century BC. Half Stater (Electrum, 19 mm, 3.27 g, 3 h). Celticized male head with Ƨ-shaped ear to left. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to right, horseman above; before, cross symbol; below, winged figure with bird-like head to right. DT -, cf. 2397 (boar below horse on the reverse). LT -, cf. 7020 (boar below horse on the reverse). Very rare. Light scratches and with a scuff on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
